Children’s Ministry – Just a reminder, Children’s Worship will be in the following rooms: 1st Service—Grades Pre.K-3rd, Room 110; 2nd Service—Grades 1st-3rd Grades, Room 110. Fourth and 5th Graders are encouraged to worship with their parents during both services, unless they have been assigned an area of ministry. For verification, please see Cathy Thomas or the teacher they've signed up to support.
Ministry Objectives
We are dedicated to directing the hearts of our children to the Father through the cross of Jesus Christ. We are preparing “true worshippers”, “But the time is coming and is already here when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for anyone who will worship him that way. (John 4:23)
Mission Statement
Motivated by God’s love to provide cross-centered teaching and activities, maturing children into the image of Jesus for the purpose of ministry and the fulfillment of His mission.
Our Vision/Purpose
To present ourselves and our children as living sacrifices, disciples who are cross centered and culturally relevant. This is to be accomplished by the grace of God as we immerse them in the:
Ministry of the Word: Children learning from the word of God to experience a life of power and purpose.
Ministry of Music: Children learning to make music in their hearts with songs, hymns, and spiritual songs.
Ministry of Drama: Children learning through dramatic presentations to love the Lord, live the word, and laugh out loud.
Ministry of Helps: Children learning to be respectful, disciplined, and obedient to authority.
